Automatic IP/MAC Address Replacement
Incident Report for Visp
Investigating
We've recently identified a potential issue with a newly released feature that could impact certain ISPs. This feature automatically associates a service with equipment if the customer has only one service and updates the service device's MAC and IP addresses accordingly.

While this automation can streamline processes for many, it may not be suitable for all ISPs. In some cases, this automatic association could lead to unexpected behavior or configuration conflicts.

To address this, we've escalated the issue to our development team. They're currently investigating the potential impacts and working on a solution.

If you encounter any issues related to automatic service association or unexpected MAC/IP address changes, please contact your VSP Client Success team for immediate assistance.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
